Spotlight: Peter Langeness

LSP Member Spotlight - 2014.12.15

Peter Langeness first came to Living Storm Productions in the winter of 2013. He had answered an ad by LSP looking for individuals with advertising and video editing background. He joined on as a production assistant but quickly showed he was able to contribute more to [the company].

Currently Peter does promotional photography and poster design for Living Storm. We are looking forward to unveiling his latest work for the "Full Circle" release poster in the near future.

Before joining he had worked with Wisconsin Union Directorate and Geeks Who Drink LLC which gave him a healthy mixture of professionalism and alcoholism. He grew with a passion for most art forms mainly writing and the stage. Once he left rural Wisconsin to attend college in Madison he found himself naturally drawn to filmmaking.

Recently I had the pleasure to sit down with Peter and ask a few questions of my own.

How has your experience been while working with Living Storm Productions?

It has been wonderful. When I went to college I was worried I would miss my parents' pointless squabbling.

Who are your greatest influences?

Saul Bass, Quentin Tarantino, and Hayao Miyazaki. Simply put I am a child at heart who enjoys some blood.

What are your future ambitions while at Living Storm?

As long as we stay above bankruptcy, I am more than content.

Why do you enjoy working for Living Storm Productions?

LSP is one of those great companies that is dedicated to the story. They do not dumb down their stories so that they appeal to a wider audience. They do not change a script to appease some financier. In the face of opposition they are adamant. They are genuine to the great art form of storytelling.
