1. How did you find out about Living Storm Productions? What made you want to become part of the group?

About five and a half years ago I went on Craigslist to see if there were any independent film productions going on in the Madison area that I could help out with. I answered an ad posted by the group that later became Living Storm Productions, and they brought me on as a PA for a feature they were working on at the time. I’ve worked with LSP over many projects because I support their mission of growing the film industry in Wisconsin and helping to develop the regional talent base.

2. What first interested you in film?

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by how the movies are able to bring imagination to life, and I’ve always wanted to learn more about it and be a part of that process

3. For you, what’s the most exciting part about making a film?

Crafty. Just kidding! For me, the best part about making a film is the creative collaboration between all of the different departments in the service of telling a story that will (hopefully!) resonate with the audience.

4. What is your experience in filmmaking?

I’ve done a decent amount of production work, which involves a lot of organizing and managing-from working as a PA on reality shows to working as a Production Manager for a couple of independent films. I’ve also done a lot of extras casting, as well as doing background work myself, but my favorite part of the industry, and the area that I have the most experience in, is casting.

5. What are some of your filmmaking ambitions?

My ultimate goal would be to cast TV and internet series, but I hope to just keep meeting and working with talented and interesting people!
